Acted Tajikistan, in coordination with its project partner PO Jahon, continues its commitment to promoting transparency and accountability by delivering targeted anti-corruption training for professionals in the social protection sector. These training sessions aim to enhance participants’ understanding of corruption risks and provide practical strategies to mitigate them effectively in their daily work.

From October 2024 to February 2025, more than 200 social protection specialists, including those working on the Targeted Social Assistance (TSA) programme, participated in these comprehensive training programs across DRS, Sughd Region, and Dushanbe. The sessions focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to strengthen social protection systems, address vulnerabilities, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently to support vulnerable populations.

A module was developed for the two-day training, covering topics on targeted social assistance and anti-corruption. Experts from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan participated in the development of the module.

This event was organised as part of the “Effective Governance for Economic Development” program (#EGED), supported by the UK in Tajikistan and implemented by #Acted in Tajikistan in partnership with the NGO “Jahon”.
